Welcome on the Hard Disk Windows app

Thank you for installing Hard Disk. To get started with this new Hard Disk app, click on the Hard Disk app icon. And you see instantly an overview of all your internal and extern storage on your Windows 11 computer. That is available as a pinned window and widget in your widget panel.

You can view the number of storage devices in a list accompanied by a progress bar. In this progress bar, blue indicates used storage, while light gray represents free available storage that you can utilize on your computer. Additionally, information about the file type, such as APFS, FAT, NTFS or FAT-ex, will be visible.

The accompanying Windows 11 widget further enhances your desktop experience by providing at-a-glance information on disk usage. Customize the widget to display relevant data points, ensuring that critical information is always just a glance away. Stay informed and in control of your system's storage resources with the sleek and user-friendly widget.
