How to open a Firefox extension Options page (Full Screen, Page Sidebar, Zoom, Turn Off the Lights, etc)?

Introduction

If you are using Firefox extensions like Full Screen, Page Sidebar, Note Sidebar, Proper Menubar, Rotate that Vide Player, Zoom, Turn Off the Lights, or any others that offer customization, you might want to access their settings or options page to tweak how they work. Here is a simple guide to help you open the options page for any Firefox extension:

Method 1: Through the Extensions Menu

1. Click the Extensions icon (puzzle piece) in the Firefox toolbar

2. Click on the wrench icon to see the context menu of that extension. Here you will find the menu item to manage the extension. Select now this menu item “Manage Extension” to open the page

3. You see now the detailed page of that Firefox extension. Click the three-dot menu (…) next to the extension’s name

4. A menu will show on top, and here you can select “Preferences” from the menu to open that Firefox extension Options page

This will open the settings or options page for that specific extension, where you can customize its features according to your preferences.

Method 2:

Some Firefox extension do have a new way that is only for specific extension such as the Turn Off the Lights Firefox extension. When you click 2X on the extension icon, you see a popup panel show up. And there you see a button show “Options”. Click on that button will open that Options page.
